Help! Can DVDA do this or not???

I am trying to find out if DVDA can have a sound effect play when you scroll over a video thumbnail. I am imaging a "beep" sound each time a different video is highlighted or selected. I am making a DVD with 10 different video clips on them.. I would like, from the main menu, to have a sound play when people scroll over them....perhaps even have the title change color when they are "highlighted".

Can DVDA do this or not???

Thanks, I have been looking everywhere in the manual and have been coming up empty!

You can't do this with DVD-A by scrolling over or navigating to a thumbnail. You would need the ability to set for autoactivation of your buttons, and DVD-A doesn't have that ability.

Jim,

Thanks.....It seems kind of minor but I am amazed that you can't set this. My company does music and sound design so one might think that I might have cool effects such as this. Maybe DVDA isn't the answer. WHat other programs should I take a look at? I know MAC based programs will do this but don't want to convert them if I don't have to.... especially since my superdrive cpu is the same as my Pro Tools computer and it's always in use!

Thanks again

Mediachances's DVD-Lab is out, it has "Auto Action" for menu buttons, I think it can do it

Thanks....I will check it out.

I figuered out the text situatioin.... When I burned a DVD the text "rolled over" correctly. Why in "preview" mode the text will not mask correctly, I have no idea!!!
