Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing? That doesn't make any sense.

I’ve purchased the Vegas pro.. got my email with downloadable link for installation.. install went smooth but when I go to open the actual program it’ll load then this appears. If that makes more sense.

Does that mean it's already installed? Check add or remove programs.

I think you may be clicking on the installer again instead of going to the program which should be in the start menu if you didn't create a desktop icon.

Yes you are correct.. so I click on icon for program and it doesn’t do a thing.

At this point I assume you have checked "add or remove programs" and confirmed it is installed. If not, try again.

Vegas should reside here by default- you can get there in Windows explorer: C:\Program Files\VEGAS\VEGAS Pro 20.0

I’ve started from scratch and I believe I’m getting further than I was. I appreciate the help. Thank you much.

On the basis that Vegas Pro is properly installed, check to see if there are any Vegas Pro listings under Background Processes in the Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del). If there are any Vegas Pro listings, hit the End Process button on each one and then try clicking on the Vegas Pro icon on the Desktop.

Of course, enjoy the program once you get it working.
