help - freezes between media in playlist

I opened a new project, clicked on untitled, in the far left field, added media. then right clicked on the blue menu screen in the middle, and created a playlist. I made sure each video file had no black frames at either end. Command is set to hold so that it doesn't start as soon as it loads in the dvd player. I double checked it as a preview and it ran smoothly. Then I burned the dvd at the slowest speed and when I watch it on the tv, it pauses between media clips in a couple of places. I need this to run smoothly from the first clip to the last.
any suggestions?

It sometimes takes DVD players a moment to move from track to track. There's really not much you can do about this except make your playlist one video rather than several short videos.

can't have pauses though when it's a screener. What I ended up doing was, taking all my mpg's and putting them into a new timeline and rendering as one file. There is no second compression and quality looks just like the original files. I've seen many people talking about software that does that for you but costs like 50 bucks or more. this is a free way to do it.
