HELP FX no longer work!

Using V5.

Suddenly, no FX work! No matter what FX I choose to drop on a clip, or on the track, that FX is not previewed or rendered.

This started happening suddenly. Previously, everything was working fine. Now, no effects work at all. It is as if a switch was thrown but I can't find it.

This is not a corrupted .veg issue, either. I can reboot, start V5, create a new project, drop a clip in, add FX and nothing happens.

Help!!! I've got projects due!

Turn off "split screen" which is one of the buttons just above the preview screen (a circle that's half light and half dark)

Boy, do I feel like an idiot. Thanks a ton, Jet. Not sure I would've figured that one out anytime soon.
