As far as I know no, you cannot do this in DVDA 3.

Yes, you could do this with DVDA4 - there's an example of random movie play in the DVDA forum, this could be easily modified to handle a random opening menu.

The only thing I haven't investigated fully yet is when I tried to set a "first play" script, DVDA complained that the script was orphaned - if this functionality is broken, then you may need a short intro clip that links to your random menu script.

<edit> just did a check - even though DVDA4 is claiming the script is an orphan, it is getting executed properly.
