Help importing EX1 Files

I was given some footage taken by the EX1. I have some XML files and some mp4 files. I can't drag either into the Vegas 8.0c timeline. What do I have to do to import these clips?

You need the Sony Clipbrowser software to convert the .mp4 files into .mxf files.
