I have tried to clean my PC exactly as stated in the instructions published by SCS here in the answers forum. I got this stupid popup during all my former upgrades (from 9.0 to a, b, and c), but did not bother since Vegas seemed to work, despite of this annoying wizard complaint.

There must be some other way of making a CLEAN install so that the istaller does not complain about premature installation ???

I mean - OTHER - than format: C ???

Any ideas (I'm pulling my hair already quite rapidly...) ? How have you tackled this problem? What is wrong with the SCS installer? I have removed everything SONY from my computer and need to re-install 9.0d WITHOUT errors!! What can I do next ?

PS: I know - I should NOT had done this upgrade in the middle of two huge project, but on the other hand 9.0c was dysfunct due to the frequent hangs..
