Help is it a bug?

Hi, I have a Problem with Vegas 3,when I Right-click a video event and choose Properties,
On the Video Event tab, adjust the Playback rate.
The play back rate just jumps to - 4.000 - from 1.000, and it stays that way.
So that means that the video event plays 4 x faster.
It jumps every time to 4.000, every time I try to increase or decrease it.
It doesn’t go below or above it.
And, the other thing I have noticed is that, when I save a project - and highlight the check box under, so that it will save the media pool- it jumps to 30.0 s - trim length.
I have had this before one time, but after installing the new version it has changed.
But this time even after un-installing and removing al the registries, it stays that way.
Can anyone please help me thank you if you do so.

Strange problem. You didn't explain whether you try to also type in an amount manually and whether that works or not. If so, at least it's a work-around to some probably deeply-buried registry entry lost in the netherworld of windowsland.

Hi,

You might try: ctrl+shift+ restart Vegas... it restores all prefs to the defaults.

Any preferences or custom render templates will be overwritten....
