Help! Lost main concept mpeg 2 decoding

Hello All
For some reason, I seem to have lost the option of mpeg 2 when I go to burn a video cd, it only allows me to burn it at mpeg 1. It's there if I want to just render it without burning a vcd though. Any ideas? TIA

A Video CD standard is MPEG1. An SVCD is MPEG2.

Yeah, I pretty much figured that out. But as to my question, why do I not have the option to burn to mpeg 2 anymore?

Are you saying that when you hit RENDER, only the MainConcepts MPEG-1 shows up in the list of "save as type"?
If so, you may need to either try a repair install or an uninstall/reinstall of VV3.
You have VV3.0C?

aha, you may have hit the nail on the head. Thats exactly what I'm experiencing, and when I checked my version, it says 3.0a. I'll try the update and see how that works. Thanks for the insight!
