I have had this problem for a while. I checked the DVDA and Vegas forums for two years worth of posts. I saw the questions asked a few times, but they never got answered. When I render my audio as ac3 and bring it into DVDA it gets recompressed.

I just downloaded the latest versions of DVDA2 and VV5 5 to make sure that hasn't been fixed.

I renderd the ac3 as default, stereo and surround sound. I switched the properties for the DVDA project to all three options as well. It always wants to recompress each of them. Anybody know why this is happening?
