Hey folks,
Thanks for taking a moment to see if you can help me with this frustrating problem I am encountering in Vegas 8. Maybe I am overlooking something but I dont see anything in the pull down menus or settings that would be the problem.
When I import a video clip to my timeline, the video and audio tracks are not locked together as one clip. If I move the video clip along the timeline, the audio portion stays put and turns pink (to let me know its out of synch). I have never had this problem on previous versions of Vegas and I asked a good friend who is also an accomplished Vegas user if he is having the same trouble. He reports that he isnt and that when he slides the video along his timeline, the audio portion moves right along with it.
I am editing a wedding video and that means hundreds upon hundreds of clips, it seems like my editing time is doubling now that I have to scrub the audio and video separately and insure they are cut correctly to keep in synch.
Any help would certainly be appreciated and save me a boat load of time.
Vegas 8a (yeah, i know i need to get the updates)
HP Media Center PC with 2.6 Quad core & 3 Gigs of RAM.
I am editing the m2t files directly, didnt care for the Gearshift experience and my PC is fast enough to let me edit the m2t.
Thanks in advance.
