Help - Projects won't render

VV users please help,

I have been trying to get my projects to render with mpeg2 and mpeg1 formats, and my system continues to reset it's self every signle time, or I receive an error message from the software.

I have previously had great success on a regular basis and then one day I started having this problem. My system supports the requirements for doing video editing just fine.

Has anyone else had this problem? I took out my Geforce 4 card, and put in an old Vanta and it worked, but now I having the same problem with the Vanta card. I have the same problem with Windows 98SE and XP.

This is very frustrating, any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Everyone,

Heres something to chew on... why might a USB, Game Pad connected make a difference. I came about this, by installing another video card... and everything worked, but I noticed that I did not have my game pad plugged in.

I then reinstalled the original Geforce 4 card, with out the game pad, and everything worked again.

The mystery of computers, if anyone has feedb back or comments they are welcomed.

came across similar prob. cldn't get audio off cd drive w/ vv. saw a posting that said to unplug smartcard reader (usb). everything wks now, no prob. weird.
