Help-Red Timeline Sections-Project is frozen

Can't try any of the suggestions - it says "Sony Vegas Not Responding"

Typically a red section of the timeline would indicate a problem reading the file. If it's an MPEG file, you might try running it through mpeg2repair (or something like that - just do a search)
