HELP! -Render HIghrez WMV to Avi = stuttering

Dropped a 2.5Mbit wmv file onto the T/L and when I rendered out, the video (avi) started stuttering and dropping frames on playback that aren't dropped in the WMV files.

The stuttering is rendered right into the .avi - anyone know why / what the problem is?

I took a Microsoft HD-WMV and put it on the timeline and rendered a small portion of it to DVD NTSC Widescreen avi at best quality and all other settings at default and it was ok. Also did it with prerender to media player and it was ok after two playthroughs.

Hmmm, well, this consistantly happened on multiple different files, so I'm not sure what to think.. I'm doing a export image sequence and I'll see if that cleans it up.

Who knows what the deal is, could just be some kind of issue my comp is having. Who knows, But I will say that these were just SD - but full Rez Mbit Files.
