You might want to try resetting VP20 back to its default (factory) settings via the procedure outlined here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/faq-how-can-i-reset-vegas-pro-to-default-settings--104646/

The downside of this is that personalised settings will be lost and will need to be re-set.

Perhaps the loss of power of your computer has upset VP20 in some way.

I tried resetting and it did NOT work..all my settings were removed but no dialog box
