Help routing problem with the preview buss

Using vegas 3
My spdif outs are on soundcard channels 15 and 16
when I try to right click an event and "add non realtime fx" the preview is done on soundcard channel 1 and 2 even though 15 and 16 are selected as default
how do I correct this ?

never mind,
for those who dont know, right click the mixer window and choose " show preview fader"
