ZeroEndDark-Projects wrote on 5/3/2023, 9:46 PM

I recently bought Vegas Edit 20 and from the Steam platform it says that the interface is in Spanish, but when I install it, it only shows English and German. I need help to install it in Spanish.

As Vegas Pro versions from Steam are not exactly the same as if bought directly from MAGIX (Steam has its own registration/activation system and doesn't use serial numbers nor create a MAGIX account), you'll need to contact Steam about the matter as they are your vendor. For example, MAGIX Vegas Pro versions do not have the language choice that you have exampled in your post. In any event, isn't that window written in Spanish? Have you completed the installation to see what language the GUI is actually in?

Though I could be wrong, my understanding is that Vegas Pro bought from MAGIX needs to be purchased in the the chosen language - I can't recall ever seeing a language choice during the installation process.

I have the version of vegas pro 18 edit, this one does let me put it in my Spanish language.
According to the Steam store it says that Vegas 18 and 19 and 20 are available in Spanish but when Vegas 20 arrives it says that it is not available to install in Spanish. According to the page, it tells me that if it is in English, will it be misleading advertising

It's best that you discuss this with Steam as they are the vendor and the advertising/product descriptions are theirs. If the Steam version of Vegas Pro 20 is in fact not available in Spanish - and their product description misled you, you'll need to negotiate with them about a resolution perhaps including the possibility of a full refund.

Steam is very understanding of returns, their policies are that I can refund any game or program as long as it hasn't been 2 weeks or I've had 2 hours of using the app, Vegas is my favorite video editor, I really do. I want to have but in Spanish. If they already gave me 18 in Spanish, they should be able to give me 20 in Spanish, I think the problem is that they didn't upload the Spanish language on Steam. I understand that the Spanish version exists, I just downloaded the demo at https://www.vegascreativesoftware.com and the Spanish language is available
