Help Using DH Wedding Essentials in V4

Hi All:
I recently bought Digital Hotcakes Wedding Ess. Vol 1 to use in Vegas. I bought the format that came with AVI files on one DVD and Targa overlays on the other. Can anyone give me step by step instructions how to get my video to show in the black areas of the the avi overlays? The tutorials posted on their website only refers to using the Targa images. For example, if I tool the HeartSatin avi file and brought it into Vegas, How do I get my video or still image to appear in the black area of the heart???? Thanks in advance.

Use your avi overlays as a masking track on Vegas.

Put your overlay on track 1 and your video on track 2 pres the "make compositing child" arrow on the track 2 and it's all. If the video shows on the withe area instead the black area put an invert FX on the overlay and invert the B/W areas.

Thank You so much Josaver, your response helped alot. The only problem I'm having now is that when I invert to get the video to show up in the black area, my nice ivory satin and gold trimmed heart overlay turns to shades of grey.

I'll try to make a sample veg to you, I don't understand your new problem if I don't see the image.

Josave: Thank you for all of your help. Digital Hotcakes did send me an email with a link to an updated tutorial on how to use their material in Vegas. I just thought I would post it here in case anyone else would like to check it out. However, you guys probably already know all this stuff !!! I love this forum.....
