[HELP] Video Dimension Shrink When Viewing in Mobile

jbayman wrote on 8/24/2018, 11:18 PM

I am a beginner at using Sony Vegas Pro (using version 14.0) and is having some issues with the dimension of the video in mobile view after uploading online (Facebook, YouTube).

The shots that were taken using mobile looked fine when viewing on the computer. However, when viewing in mobile, the dimensions shrink a lot.

You can view the video in both computer and mobile to view the difference.

I need help with readjusting the dimensions when users view the video on mobile. Do I have to change my video or rendering settings?

Any help in resolving this issue would be appreciated.

Why are you shooting portrait (1080 x 1920) for upload to youtube? Shoot 1920 x 1080, render 1920 x 1080, upload for viewing at 1920 x 1080. I don't do facebook.

Cheers for the help.

I tried with the project properties to 1920 x 1080 and the frame size in rendering to HD (1920 x 1080). But it still turns out the same.

What format did you shoot in? What is the width and height of the original video? Is it shot in portrait or landscape?

crop it and you have to render it by 1080 * 1920
