I thought I could use it from the Tool > Extension tab, but nothing was displayed. In After Effects, Universe GUI opened in the same way. Is there something different?
Not many Red Giant VFX have ever been compatible with Vegas Pro, the ones that are compatible should automatically appear in Vegas Pro's Video FX window after installtion on your computer - at least they used to when I had older versions of RG's Looks VFX installed many years ago. The compatibility information lists Vegas Pro 19 and 20 as having host compatibility. If you've got Vegas Pro 21 or 22 installed and no RG/Universe VFX are showing, you'll need to contact Maxon for advice about compatibility for VP21/22.
@TrueDamage What you can do is go to their website and research the plugins they specifically says that are compatible with Vegas Pro..... What i remember that only works in Vegas Pro in the past were: Looks, Cosmo, Mojo, Film, Renoiser and Universe. But i am a bit unsure as to what works right now.
I used to use all their Vegas Pro compatible plugins a lot back in the day. But gradually over the years they start this Vegas on and off compatibility support nonsense, they just became messy....When Maxon bought the company, especially with this single Maxon App, that was it for me.
>Not many Red Giant VFX have ever been compatible with Vegas Pro I remember emailing them some years ago asking if Vegas support was on the horizon. Response was far from promising - they claimed few of their FX were officially compatible with Vegas, and would not comment on future plans
