Yesterday, I was trying to edit an audio track with the reverb plugin, but I can't open this or other plugins 'cause of an error (I'm attaching the sreenshot). How can I do? Thanks
I would concur w/ @j-v try a reset... if that does not help, reinstall. If all the other plug-ins and everything else works normally and you do want to set up VP from scratch again, there are much better sounding reverb plug-ins available for free and otherwise. For instance, the (free) Ambience reverb from Smartelectronix sounds very good.
I tried with a reset and then I re-installed Vegas pro, but nothing happened...I have another program for audio editing, but It is so unconfortable to edit a video on SVP and Its audio on another program, so I think I should probably download better plugins
Does VP operate normally otherwise? Do other VST Fx work normally. or is it just that particular reverb plug-in? Have you tried it on a sub or master bus? How about in the 'Assignable FX' mode? .. which is usually preferable for reverb anyway.
Maybe this could be a problem with your asio drivers.
I would not think the device type drivers would affect the plug-ins. That said, try Sound Mapper or Classic Wave Driver device. (Options> Preferences> Audio device)
Hi, VP works normally, but a lot of Its plugins don't work. My audio drivers are updated, but It's probably a VP error. I'll try to download manually all the plugins I need.
Go to "Options> Preferences> VST Effects" and select the pertinent default and alternate VST search folders with the Plug-ins you want. Many VSTs are put in the Steinbergfolders by default ('Program Files' and 'Program Files x86. The VP-16, EFx plug-ins are in "Program Files> Vegas> Vegas Pro 16.0> Magix Plugins> essentioalFX" so confirm the Default or Alternate VST search folders are set to there. I assume VP-17 and 18 are the same. After setting the VST search folder, click the Refresh button. Then confirm the plug-in are check-marked in the VST list.
