Help with capture

Vegas has stopped capturing for me. In the past I have had no problem capturing in Vegas using a firewire card and my GL1. I have plugged it straight into my firewire port and have had no troubles whatsoever. Today Vegas stopped capturing. Windows XP still recognizes my GL1 and my Canopus ADVC100. When I turn the camera on it I receive the Windows notification that my device is recognized. When I try to capture in Vegas (Yes, I have the enable DV device box checked) the screen goes black and nothing happens. After I press the stop button in the capture program I get a message that "No video was captured". In order to rule things out I downloaded the trial version of Scenalyzer Live and everything works fine, capturing with no problem. I have searched this forum and have found a couple of similar instances in the past with no resolution. Any ideas out there?

Thanks,

Chris

What device do you have selected in the Capture window?

That was the problem. I had my Canopus ADVC100 turned on. Vegas must have been trying to pick up some signal from that. When I turned it off then it captured fine. Thanks for the help.
