I'm trying to familiarize myself with DVDA 5.0. I received the boxed Vegas 5.0 and DVDA 5.0 and have installed them and registered them. Using DVDA, I'm trying to creat a simple "Single Movie" project by following the directions on page 25 of the manual. The project consists of a single 3 minute AVI clip. It seems to set up as the manual says it will, but when I try to preview it using F9 or the "Preview" feature, It fails with the cryptic message: "Preview failed. error code: 0x80040964". I assume I'm missing some codex or some oter low level error. Can anyone shed some light on this?
