Help with some Vegas Audio questions?

I've been using Vegas for quite some time and there are some audio things I've never been able to fully work out so I'm hoping some of the guys in here might be able to give me a hand. I'm using the latest release of Vegas Pro 8.
Is there a way to select a number of audio tracks and lower/raise the volume of all of the selected tracks by the same amount?

One work-around would be to send tracks to a bus created for that specific purpose.

If you select the tracks in the track header and then move the volume fader they will all move together.

Yep. Select the multi[ple tracks you want to change (using the normal Windows paradgym of CTRL/Click or Shift/Click) then change the level/pan/solo/mute/whatever , and those selected will all change by the same amount.
