I always get a warning about "lazy html" when I receive something from Sony. That in itself gives the company an amateurish impression. This time though, the message came through garbled. Anyone who didn't know better might easily think that these people don't know what they are doing.
I'm always against HTML email. I think in the long run it would be much better to publish the newsletter as a webpage and then simply email a link to it along with some of the more important text, and only text, no graphics or HTML.
I use Pegasus mail (and Opera browser, but that isn't involved here).
The thing is, usually Pegasus renders the lazy html adequately (after I've ignored the warning of potential danger), but this time it was different and it is Sony who has made that change.
