Hey All, Vote For A Vegas User !

MUTTLEY wrote on 12/23/2003, 11:56 PM
Not sure how we got the nomination but the last vid I made for Brandon Jenkins is up for music video of the year here in Austin in the " Singer/Songwriter " category. I'm almost surprised by how stoked I am. It was shot on an XL1 and edited entirely in Vegas. If ya haven't seen it yet you can check it here:

http://www.undergroundplanet.com/austin.htm

So it appears as though its an open voting so if anyone liked the vid and has the time you can cast a vote here:

http://www.thanatopsisclub.com/voteform.html

I've only been doing this full time for a short while, I can't tell ya what this would mean ta me! Not exactly a GRAMMY but ya take what you can get ( love ya spot ! )

Thanks all !

Ray - Got to the http://www.undergroundplanet.com/austin.htm site. How/where do I "view" your vid? It must be me, but I can't find how to do this?

Would really like to view it!

Cheers - Grazie

Muttley, no need for a map . . . took a long time to travel to London UK though! Most be the distance - yeah?

Smashing vid . . I can see why the vid was nominated.

Thanks chum,

Grazie

Wow, thanks all. Ya know for some reason positive feedback from your " peers " always has just a bit more weight to it so this this video in particular has been especially rewarding.

Not sure if the board accepts html or not but lets give this a try:

Right Click To Save

Thanks again all, every vote helps and I promise to dig up this topic and Jan and letcha all know one way or the other.

So Grazie, should I send you a map of London ?

It ain't about the brass, but it sure makes you feel good, doesn't it? Good luck!! Looks like an awesome vid.

HAIL Yeah I voted for it! Not bad for country : )
Seriously, congratulations Ray, the video in general (as hard as it is to tell at that size) is very well done (ie content etc) and the "frame mode" you used on the XL1 makes it aesthetically very "pro" looking to me. I listened with a pair of Event 2020 BAS' and was blown away by the audio. Just out of curiousity, where did they record it ?

Thanks again all, and Spot I do understand. Though I can't yet validate how it feels to win the " brass ", with any luck I'll be able to get back to ya on that.

g_randybrown, thanks man. Not sure where it was recorded. I know it was in Oklahoma, just don't know what place. I'll ask next time I talk to Brandon.
