After being forced to compromise on what I wanted to have on the DVD I thought I was done messing with DVDA. Not!
I see that DVDA doesn't do house cleaning very well. It reports disc usage at 4.3GB all during the menu and chapter making process. OK, that's within limits assuming that allows for overhead which it doesn't say. Anyways I go ahead. I press make DVD and it now says that 4.3GB that I'm thinking is safe isn't and I'm 108% over limit DVDA claims.
So I press Optimize. Guess what DVDA still "sees" the audio files on all the sub menu pages. The files I DELETED from the project already. On one sub menu page it lists the actual 652K MP3 file as 55MB. On the other five sub menu pages it lists the SAME file five more times at 1.0 MB each. So duh that's part of "overage" all bogus. I try to click on the files in the Optimize window and of course you can't. They don't appear anywhere on the sub menu page BECAUSE I DELETED THEM ALREADY!
So why is this garbage there and how do I get rid of it?
So thinking I made some mistake I play the sub menu pages again just to be sure there is no background music. There isn't. And none is listed, but phantom files are inclued in the Optimize window.
