hmm...

ive had to look into this when i got the A1... the colour is nice and accurate (to a degree), but saturation levels are rather weak (compared to the DVX and HVX.... by a long shot too i might add.. )

I find that Levels work quite well with this whreby one can push blacks, as once your blacks are accurate, usually the rest falls into place.

I had it in mind to actually turn down the low saturation.
I was thinking being able to tweak saturation with a curve might be neat.

Not really, I want to try desaturating just the shadows.

Thanks, that does want I want. Not as intuitive as say a curve but I've wrangled it into shape. Sort of an interesting effect that could be usefull in limited cirumstances and horrible in most.
