...but why would you want to hide them in the first place?

"...but why would you want to hide them in the first place?"

Second that ---- sooner or later we have to delete this stuff from our drives...

If you meant to delete them from the vv-expolorer view, just unclick the all-files, it will show you media files and directory only.

It is a little time consuming to do this, but you can highlight the file you want to hide - righclick your mouse button - choose Properties - and chick "Hide".

This is assuming that you have "Hide system files" turned on (by default it should be) - and assuming you are right handed and your mouse is set up so the right mouse button is the secondary button.

It should hide the file you selected - but when new ones are created - you have to do the same thing with those files.

Then, of course, when it comes time to delete them, you will have to turn off the global "Hide system files" to see them...then you can delete them.

Hope that helps.

I think you may be able to assign that file type as hidden in the Folder Options of the Tools menu in any open window, and you will have to make sure the Hide System Files option is selected too.

You could also select to view by type rather than as a list. This will group all the .sfk files together so you can skip over them quickly.
