When inserting a video clip, is it necessary to have an individual menu button for every clip? I'm working with a lot of clips, so my menu will become very cluttered if every clip has its own button. Is there a way to hide or disable buttons? Thanks.
Import or create a media asset with chapter markers, and you only need one menu button for the starting chapter. So video may be 24minutes long, divided by having six chapter markers within that single video.
Then single menu button starts the chapter one play. If the customer does nothing more than press button - the entire video will play - but customer has the advantage to advance with prev/next button thru the entire video play at his/her initiation.
Disadvantage with this method - is that chapter contents are not accessible by a listing on external menu for random access.
Then again, a more advanced alternative to overcome that very problem - create on-video buttons that have a listing during the video playback.
An alternative method is to create a music/video compilation (on the Insert menu). You need only place a single link to it on your menu and it will play all the way through. The Next button will allow the user to jump to the next segment, but you cannot add further chapter points.
