HitFilm 3 Pro versus Hitfilm 2 Ultimate in SV Pro

The Sony Vegas 13 Pro Suite web page specifically says that the Vegas pro suite includes Hitfilm 3 Pro.

When I upgraded I got download instructions for HitFilm 2 Ultimate which is an older version of hitfilm.

Can anyone shed some light on this?

When did you purchase the suite? If it was before the release of HitFilm 3 you are stuck with the older license.

HitFilm announced HitFilm 3 Pro on November 1.

If I recall you were entitled to a free upgrade on Hitfilm 3. But there might have been a window of opportunity. You might try to upgrade and see if your license works.
