Horizontal Bars in Preview w/ADVC-100

Hello everyone, I am getting two bottom to top horizontal scrolling bars
when I preview externally using the Canopus ADVC-100.

I have eliminated
the Canopus because I tried previewing using my camera.

I have eliminated the firewire cable because I tried several which are of high
quality. I have eliminated the TV because previewed on 2 different sets.

I have also tried two different computers? Has anybody else encountered this? The picture quality is great but I get those two scrolling bars!!!

Could it be bad firewire port in both my computers?

Hmm, sounds like interference. Try moving the ADVC to a different spot (also change the height, if possible). The further away from your monitor, the better. Plug the power adapter into a different outlet.

Also try swapping video cables (use good, hi quality ones).
