Horizontal Lines in Final Render

- I just batch rendered many projects to NTSC DV .avi and use that as my master to make files for DVD , CD, Streaming, .flv's and anything else that gets requested.

- I then brought them back into Vegas 6, named them as regions, and rendered the regions as mpg1.

The final mpg1 files all have Horizontal Lines that show through when there is movement or during a fade in or out. It looks kind of like the Field Order is off or something. I would have normally used BatchRender Pro for this and just rendered the project itself to the different formats. Problem is... using Boris RED as a Plugin for ChromaKeying results in a really ugly key being rendered straight to mpg1 from the timeline but it looks very good going to .avi. It then looks really good going to mpg1 except for the lines I speak of.

Q:
- Any thoughts on why the mpg1 would have these Horizontal lines?

- Is there another utility you guys use for Batch Conversion? (to change my .avi to many different file types) I'm not really happy with Sorenson 4's output.
