It doesn't say anything about it being a one year license. Best to contact Fanatical for clarification.

I can confirm the key is not time limited. You have a year to redeem the key, which is a little confusing. Once registered on the Magix site, the key expiration is shown as unlimited.

Fanatical's instructions have you download the installer from their site, but you can go directly to the Magix site.

Too bad 19 was such a dud.

Hi @mark-y ,

Why do you consider it a dud? Thanks!

Looks like a good deal. I used the final build of 19 well into the release of 21.

Hi @mark-y ,

Why do you consider it a dud? Thanks!

It was patched so that it opened on some systems 9 months after it was deprecated and replaced by 20, following rumors of pending action, according to some internet sources. The releases and patched versions never opened on my Intel 630 system; 18 is pretty solid, and is my go-to version, when I still use Vegas.

I fail to see why this "patch" would be harmful. It was merely an update necessitated by a timestamp issue that prevented Vegas Pro 19 from launching on ANY PC.

This was an essential step to enable users who continue to work with Vegas Pro 19. It was provided at no cost. Complaining about this is truly incomprehensible.

I was able to purchase Vegas 19 from a previous bundle offer and it works fine on my computer. As a new user, I watched many videos to learn the software and I felt that 19 compared to 18 was a pretty big upgrade in terms of a new user interface, enhancements including colour grading, scene detection, adjustment track, AI features and the introduction of the HUB. It was the first version to incorporate the new vision for Vegas Pro and as such one could expect some hiccups. With the cessation of Vegas Movie Studio which was an excellent product to introduce new users to the Vegas family, these bundle offerings offer a similar low cost entry for new users and I am happy they exit.
