Hello

How can edit and than export sorces with different FPS?

We shoot with:

Dji PHANTOM 4- UHD 25fps

Dji OSMO - UHD 25fps

Panasonic DVX200 - 50fps

But if set project to be 25fps the DVX200 sorce is bad after export. If set 50fps other is bad. Is any solution for this?

Thanks at advanced

The DVX200 50p export to 25p is bad because due to the smart resampling two 50p frames are combined to make one 25p frame. This gives a blurry result. Switch off smart resampling and every second 50p frame will be left out which will give a much sharper 25p image.

Right click on the 50fps (or other different frame rate sources), Switches> Disable Resample.

When using VegasPro 14 you can disable resampling project wide in the project settings. In earlier versions you have to disable resampling for each 50p event like "set" said.

This solution fix blur but the big problem is when in shoot is some motion or panorama the movement is not smooth! The motion looks like the export skip frame to compensate the FPS.

Because you recorded in a low framerate to begin with. You may have to add motion blur to your footage.

You can do the same for the 25p footage, I mean you can export your project in 50p and disable resampling for the 25p footage. You will then keep the smoothness of the 50p footage and the 25p footage will not be blurred, because every 25p frame is shown twice. By the way, I expect that your export is downscaled to 1080p50.

After all tests who I made the best solution is to export in same fps as source! In different the movments are not smooth.
