How can I achieve this effect in Vegas?

I need help from an expert on how to duplicate a person in a video to 5 or more like the demo on adobe after effects page. http://www.adobe.com/products/aftereffects/features/ (click on Extensive visual effects). You can see the the girl who dances replicated into 5 times using affter effects. I wanted know is it possible in vegas or did some tried similier effect. I don't have the budget to buy after effects. thanks

shoot on a green screen full length on the subject
key out the background
copy/paste the clip to 4 more tracks
pan/crop to resize/move off to the sides
(probably want to change rendering to "best" to improve scaling appearance)
put a background behind
sit back and let it render

it's very simple once you've keyed out the background and have just the dancer.

There are some gotchas to greenscreens that can make it difficult to key. The best thing to do is to shoot the greenscreen right. But if you have some problems, the better keying tools will help (e.g. Ultra; AE uses Keylight I think).

As far as shooting it right, the motion blur can be difficult to key out. Reflective objects may reflect the greenscreen and therefore not key easily. And then you just need to watch out for general greenscreen issues (e.g. spill, no dark pockets of shadows).
