How can I change font, size, position on the screen of autocaption?

I have Vegas 365. How can I change font, size, position on the screen of the auto captions (speech to text) ? Right now I can go to each text event and make the change. Is there a way to change all the caption events?

With newest version of Vegas Pro 20 build 403, you can set one of titles and text properties, then go click Transfer Text Properties which will send all text properties setting to all same titles & text media generated in the same track.

Another question. Is there an automatic way that you can put a little background to the subtitles like other autocaption programs allow. So if it is hard to see the subtitles you can add a little gray automatically.

The only automatic tool in VEGAS Titles & Text is this one. Make sure the 'Crop Background to text' is checked, and adjust the transparent level to suite your need.
