How can i create the following effect?

Im wanting to create the effect of handwriting being written on a piece of paper.

Is there any type of wipe i can use to do this?

Ide like maybe 6 lines of text and each one to be written one after the other.I have a bitmap picture of the paper ide like it written on.

To get something really satisfaying, forget transitions and use a simple mask that you transform gradually with keyframes.
