Hi community, im making a compilation with many videos (over 300 videos). And i wanted to make a chapter/timemark/sectionmark for every video on the editor, and if possible each one with its respective video name? is there a way to do this automatically? I dont know if im being clear but In many movies dvds you have a chapter/scene mark. And i just find out you can also do it on youtube when i saw this video:

Anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance!

If you're interested in doing it for Youtube, you have to do it in the youtube interface.

Hey thanks, but im searching to automatically put chapters for each of the videos i have on Magix Vegas Pro 17. I Have more than 300 videos so puttin a tag on each would be a lot of time. Thanks@!

A DVD will not support that many chapters. What is the final destination for your video?

@ignacio-l

It's easy enough to define the start of each discrete video on the Vegas timeline with a marker or to define them with a region. The problem arises when you render them all together into one file if that's what you plan to do. You haven't defined the access method. You haven't defined how you plan to play the videos or otherwise select them.

Use Vegasaur by @altarvic developer to create markers with the respective name of the selected videos using the feature Markers. https://vegasaur.com/Vegasaur

To create chapters in Youtube video quickly, go to Edit Details window in Vegas and, in Markers session, copy all the data and paste it into a notepad. Use this data to create the chapters in YouTube video in the video information window. If you prefer, you can too also copy all data from the Edit Detail Window of the Vegas directly to the video information window of Youtube to create the chapters markers in the video.
