How can I make POP-UP Functions Dock?

I'd like that when I activate:

* Pan/Crop

* FXs

* Text Menus

* . .and "other" ?

Menus that "spring" out at me, kinda behave themselves and Auto Dock where I want them to. Or at least scamper away from the timeline?

Looking for them, over my Timeline, is irksome.

It would be real neat if I knew where they would present themselves and IF I expect them to be in a certain place then I wouldn't have to spend time looking for them AND moving them out of the way from WHAT I was working actually on. Does this worry anybody else?

I frequently open up an FX dialog and then just drag the dotted area on the upper left into the place where the media explorer is docked. Especially for watching a spectrum analyzer VST in action. Of course as soon as you open the FXs for a different track they replace the one you were looking at.
