How can I render a TEXT loop without any background?

Hello there, I would like to render text but with transparent background. I want to then play this rendered text over videos while I mix music videos. Thanks

Is there any reason you're not using the text event itself in your other videos? That would seem to be a very simple and easy solution.

There are a few output formats that support transparency, but they can be a bit unwieldy. Uncompressed in both AVI and MOV will work when you add the alpha channel. When you bring the rendered clip back in you'll have to set that track to support alpha.

If your background is a solid color that doesn't appear in the text itself you can use Chroma Keyer to remove the background and then any rendered file format will accomplish the task.
