How can we get our thoughts on V8 organized

I, like so many others - are eagerly wating various comments from the early adopters to decide fi and when to go to V8 (actually I am kind of happy I have till Oct 31 for the good price that is a legit amount of time.

What I have started seeing already is so many overlap threads eah with a bit of info - but also a bit of a mess.

I would love if we could "self organize" and try to make a smaller amount of "super topics" covering the big issues.

"Titler"
"32 Bit"
"should the home hobbyist/non-pro upgrade"
"v8 and HD"
etc ...

There is so much good coming from this list ( even the whining) I just don't want to miss stuff - or have to go "fishing and jumping"

OK I mentioned what I want - and what I think a lot of us want - how to do it - without getting into Moderation I am not sure -

But I guess the first is - before starting a new thread make sure that same topic is not going on in a diff thread.

Good or Bad - it is always an excisting time when "your product" has something new.

for me I am double lucky - I am checking out what is new in V8 - and also getting new info on the new Springsteeen album at the same time - that is 2 of my favorite topics ..

Thanks
Allen

Compare this forum interface to other popular forums and I think you'll see the problem is not easily fixable. There can be no sub-forums and no categories. It's really time for an upgrade.

Sony has subforums for each product, but then each product should have relative subforums of its own. HD, hardware, scripting, workflows, critique my work, bug reports, etc. would all make good categories for Vegas.

Oh, and an Off Topic category whould be a great way to keep non-Vegas threads out of view. It seems that during the slow times, more than half the posts here are OT.
