Jim -
First, add eight empty tracks and then arm each one individually by
clicking on the round button to the left of the X button on the
slider portion of the track. Once armed, you will see, to the left of
the flashing icon, a number 1 which you can click on which brings
down a drop-down list of all available inputs. Choose Layla 1/2
analog and then choose Left or Right channel, to get a mono
recording. So, track 1 should be Layla inpur 1/2 left, track 2 should
be Layla input 1/2 right, 3 should be Layla input 2/4 left, etc...
