How do I change the size of the screen?

I am not sure how to explain this. The viewing screen is in 4:3, is there a way i can make the viewing screen to whatever I want. This is hard to explain.

Here's what I am trying to do. I have captured footage of a video game and the game splits your TV into a top half, for player 1 to play on, and a bottom half, for player 2 to play on. I want to cut out the bottom player and only show the top player, but I don't want it black underneath, i want it, just gone. I can use track motion to move the video up/down and that will get rid of the bottom/top player, but then the top/bottom is just black, i want that gone, so that the screen is adjusted to show only the top half of my footage. How do I make it show only part of my footage? Also, the screen will split into 4 equal squares when 4 players are playing, how do I make so that the screen shows only one quadrant of my footage, without enlarging the video and then moving the video to fit the thing, cause then it's all pixelated and doesn't look right. I want to it to keep the size, but only show that section? Does that make any sense?

How do I go about doing this?

Turn off "Lock Aspect Ratio" or hold down the CTRL key when resizing the box in Track Motion or Pan/Crop.

Try making your project size (for the 2 player game) 640x240. Then move your footage using track motion or pan/crop. For the 4 player, try 320x240 at the project size.
