How do I disable 3D stereoscopic mode for certain clips?

So I'm making a video project with an intro that has a glitched 3D effect for the text. I'm finished with that intro and now I want to work on the other clips in the video, but they all have the 3D cyan/red stereoscopic mode applied to them. When I go to disable the mode in the project properties, the 3D effect for my glitched text is gone. So my question is how do I enable 3D stereoscopic mode for certain clips in the project, while having it disabled for other clips?

I'm running Sony Vegas Pro 13.

In the Media Project window, go to Media Properties and set the 3D Stereoscopic Mode to Off. Or right-click on an event, then select properties -> select media-tab.
If the source is a multistream video, now the left-eye picture is also shown on the right. For side-by-side video pan / crop has to be used to select the left- or right-eye picture.

Do you want to change how things appear while working on the project (but leave the clips 3D), or actually convert the clips to 2D?

To change how things appear:

Right click in the preview window and select Video Preview Preferences. This will open a preferences window. In the Stereoscopic 3D mode pull down menu you can select any display mode you like, including left- or right-only if you want to work with a 2D preview. The 3D mode displayed in the preview window does not have to be the same as the project settings.
