How do I do this?

I am trying to apply "Reduce Interlace Flicker" to the entire timeline in VV4 and then "Force Resample".
According to the help file you are supposed to Select Event(s).
Then choose Switches and click on the above two switches. When I Select All those choices are NOT highlighted to choose them.
Does one have to go event by event down the timeline to do this? That's not what the Help file says.

Go to the first event in the track. Right click. Select all events to end. This should grab everything. Now right click, switches while still in the first event and not doing anything else, select the first switch for whatever you wan to do, now do another right click to select the second switch choice. Should apply to everything. I've done this as a one shot with dozens, sometimes hundreds of events on the timeline.

FWIW, my understanding, maybe from a post wayyy back by sonic epm, is that reduce interlace flicker is for stills, applies more of an interlace or something to a progressive frame?

Billyboy,
That worked, but I tried rendering to a new track and it only rendered part of the video.
Render Loop Region Only is greyed out and I can't uncheck it.
