How do I enter advanced edit mode?

Hi all,

I bought Movie Studio 13 and by default I'm in this simple edit mode, with no way to get out of it. It's incredibly frustrating. I looked at a youtube video of someone demonstrating and they had options on the top-left for "simple" and "advanced" modes. But I have nothing. Just New Project, Open, Save etc....

Any help much appreciated!

Ok I've now come to understand that I have bought the version which does not have any advanced features at all, and I need to get the Platinum one to do that. Will I need to splash out another full amount just to upgrade?

Sorry to hear about that...It is listed here that Movie Studio (non Platinum) only has easy mode. You will have to upgrade.
