How do I get rid of New Blue Pop-Up?

I recently purchased the New Blue 3D Six-Pack and I am happy with them ... EXCEPT now whenever I run VMS there is a New Blue pop-up wanting me to check out more of their software.

Has this happend to anyone else? How do I get this to stop?

I have a couple of their items, it prompts me every once and a great while. Not enough to bother me. But every time, that would be a different story. Have you tried clicking on a link to have it open a browser window, maybe that would reset a flag. Post a question on their support line. Maybe search for a registry entry?

Did you also install Cartoonr? The free Cartoonr plugin does show ads periodically. Uninstalling Cartoonr would get rid of those ads. Also, there's a "Cartoonr Plus" in another package that has more controls with no ads.

Yes, the only product from NewBlue that pops up that promotion is Cartoonr, which is free. And, it will only pop up if you are actually using it in a project.
We have, however, cut back the frequency to about every 5 days (or never, if not used) in the latest version because we really don't want to annoy people! You can check it out at http://www.newbluefx.com/cartoonr/.
This version also supports 8.1 and 32 bit processing.

Ah-Ha! Yes, the most recent download / purchase was the 3D pack .. but the project I am working on most recently has *both* 3D Pack and Cartoonr effects .. I didn't remember the pop up when I downloaded the Cartoonr (because I had played around with it .. not actually used it in a project) So I assumed it was the 3D pack that was the "problem"
