How do I make new pictures snap to each frame?

I'm making an animation so I have thousands and thousands of animation frames (30 frames per second). But Vegas sets all the movies at 29.730 frames per second which really messes me up. When I put a picture into the tray it doesn't fit each frame. If I set my New Picture Length at 0.033 it's a tad to small, and if I set it at 0.034 it goes past the frame. If I were to put in each picture frame by frame than it snaps to a frame fine, but if I select more than one they all stick together and my movie get's longer or shorter. Is there a way to make so when I put alot of pictures into the tray, each picture snaps to a frame?

Assuming your pictures are named sequentially, for example: frame0001.jpg, frame0002.jpg, frame0003.jpg, etc., you can use File / Open, browse to the frames. select the first one, then check the box labeled "Open image sequence". This will open the entire group of still frames as a single video event. You may specify any frame rate you wish or use the default project frame rate.
