How do I take a snap shot?

How do I take a snapshot if a video on the time line?

I have a video with a guy that is talking, and I want to have a picture snap shot to use in the end of the movie.

I know that I can do that when doing capture, but I'm past that point.

if you want to extract a frame of the video as an image clip, go to where it shows in the preview window and then right above the preview window is a save image clip icon.

i tried this and it took a very small snap shot.

it appears to be the size of your preview window. so apparently you want your preview window to be full-size before taking the snap shot to get a full-resolution still. i think you can do that by right-clicking on the preview window and checking "display at project size".
